Some good news – thank you, Carole! Good to see persistence paying off, and making such a big difference 🙂
At last, after many years of letters back and forth to my pen friend’s lawyer and to the Warden at the prison, my pen friend in Georgia finally got his new set of dentures this week. It has been difficult for him to chew his food properly for a very long time and he has been eating food which has been ground up. The food is unpalatable in the first place and grinding it up makes it even more so!
My/our persistence has paid off not only for my pen friend but for other prisoners on the row in Georgia who require dentures too. I will be writing to my pen friend to say ‘three cheers’ and to the Warden to thank him for making this possible.
